FireGrace's Pregnant Fire Dance

This footage of me fire spinning pregnant was filmed when I was about 7 and 1/2 months along. I am spinning fire poi, long staff, baton and also fire fans. The music was chosen to resemble a lullaby, although there was one song chosen to remind us what the youth today offer our changing world.

A pregnant fire dancing video was an idea that I had as soon as I discovered that I was pregnant, and I am so grateful that it manifested for the entire world to see. I hope that this video offers women the inspiration to continue their art during pregnancy and after childbirth. I also hope that it empowers you to realize your true beauty and the goddess energy that flows through you during this amazing transformation!

The art of fire dancing is extremely exhilarating by itself, let alone when you are holding life inside of you. Just imagine it for a second... your beautiful body learning to overcome your biggest fears and learning to release all of your pain and struggles that have burdened you over your lifetime. Fire can be scary because it is known for its extremely destructive and dangerous characteristics. However if you can be one with the flame and learn to dance with the fire as it is spinning and orbiting around your body, then the experience of fire spinning can be very cleansing. Although fire is known to bring death and destruction, it also paves the way for new life and a new beginning. It also brings to the surface the very childlike nature that will allow to become the wonderful and understanding parent that you hope to be!
