This long staff is really the best I have seen to use as a fire contact staff! The KEVLAR ® wicking is extremely high quality and tightly woven for an exceptionally long burn time. Grip material covers half of the long staff, providing plenty of surface area for contact staff juggling. While SFC Contact Staves are designed with the contact “staffer” in mind, these staves are also excellent for beginners. The 7/8 inch aluminum body is reinforced at the ends by a wooden dowel, which has the additional effect of reducing the amount of heat that travels to the center of the long staff so that the shaft does not get too hot to juggle. This is a crucial addition to the creation of the contact staff for anyone interested in spinning for long periods of time! The fire contact staves come in 2 sizes; 4 ft 8 inches and 5 ft.
